How do I change my relationship status in my profile?

Understand the types of relationship status to choose from on Ashley Madison and how to change it on desktop, mobile web, and mobile app.

If you created a profile as a female, you can choose from the following relationship statuses:

  • Attached female seeking males;

  • Single female seeking males; and

  • Female seeking Female.

If you created a profile as a male, you can choose from the following relationship statuses:

  • Attached male seeking females;

  • Single male seeking females; and

  • Male seeking Male.

You have complete control of your relationship status and you can change it at any time by following these steps:

Desktop or mobile web

  1. Go to Profile;

  2. Scroll down to Vitals;

  3. Click on Edit;

  4. Change your Relationship Status; and

  5. Select Save.

iOS and Android

  1. Tap on Profile;

  2. Then on Profile Information;

  3. Then Edit;

  4. Then Status;

  5. Select an option; and

  6. Select Save.
